Got in my 1st two games of Malifaux in last night and I can say that the rules and the game are pretty much awesome! The mechanics are easy to pick up but there is so much depth with abilities and triggers and the fate deck resource management system makes for a more controllable game. So, for both games it was pretty much starter boxes with my Cult of December facing off against the Death Marshals in a 25 point scrap. Both games when by in a blur but we were able to use the encounter system to generate our strategies and we also used some schemes bottom line both games ended with our Masters dueling it out in the end. Both games were a blast and went very quickly and with very few questions that the well produced out book could not answer. I think Wyrd Miniatures have a winner on their hands here quite possible the elusive Confrontation 3.0 replacement my group has been looking for many years now.
I will do my best to work up battle reports for future games the games last night were pretty much test games to work out the rules.
